Presentation by the project PIs at the ASEASUK 14 Conference in Brighton, UK, on 12-14 September 2014

Both PIs, Philippe Doneys and Donna Doane attended the ASEASUK conference and gave a presentation titled:

‘What is Essential is Invisible’: Empowerment and Security in Economic Development Projects for Low-Income Women in Four Mekong Countries"

The presentation covered findings from two projects, one funded by the Norwegian Research Council and one funded by Australian Aid (ESP-Mekong). The title is derived from the ESP-Mekong project. Findings and analysis based on qualitative evidence were presented on four Mekong countries, namely Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.

The closing dinner for the conference took place at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Pavilion).
